The F400N was the bass instrument made to acompany the F200N six string guitar. The guitar shown is a 1974 model, made by Hagstrom in Sweden. It was later named the HIIBN and HB901 when it was distributed by Ampeg in the mid 1970s
Short scale (30 ½ inch), birch body and neck. Two humbuckers with individual tone and volume controls, pickup selector switch and on/off switch. The picture to the left shows the bass in its three available finishes: Cherry, Sunburst and Black.
