The small, fast bass. Gibson's classic dual-pickup SG bass from the '60s is back! It has the 30-1/2" short scale of the original, as well as its slim, fast neck. Mahogany body and neck. It features a vintage-style TB Plus neck humbucker and a mini-humbucker at the bridge for wide tonal range. Includes hardshell case.

It's the quintessential Les Paul at its finest, Custom Shop crafted to be accurate to '57 specifications in every detail including the CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors. It was the first Paul to feature humbucking pickups, and this one comes equipped with the original '57 Classics. Carved maple top, mahogany back, and one-piece mahogany neck with the '57 profile and the original extended tenon joint. Even though Gibson had originally created the laminated top ES-175 in 1948 to fill the need for an electric version of the acoustic, carved-top L-4C, the demand still existed for an electric L-4 with a fully carved top. In the late 1950s, Gibson answered this call by releasing small runs of variously configured L-4 CES guitars, some with Charlie Christian pickups, some with alnico pickups, and some with humbuckers. This Gibson L-4 CES 3-Pickup Vintage Sunburst one-of-a-kind electric guitar is a modification of the final incarnation of the L-4 CES with 3 - '57 Classic humbuckers and solid mahogany back and sides.
