Chet Atkins had been endorsing Gretsch guitars for decades, but 1979 was the last year. This catalogue doesn't mention him directly, so must have been printed after it was known they were no longer to be his patrons. Many of the guitars would need updating/renaming; containing either his surname, first name, or have his signature on the scratchplate.
