Fender Standard Jazz Bass V
First introduced in 1960 as the "Deluxe Model," the Fender Jazz Bass has stood the test of time to become one of the most played instruments in modern musical history. Many Fender firsts such as the offset waist body, ultra-slim fast-action neck, and full-range bi-pole pickups are standard features on the Standard Jazz Bass. This is an affordable update of Fender classic designs that incorporates 2 bi-pole pickups fashioned after the American Series pickups.

This premium ash-bodied P-Bass is a stunning piece of Fender handiwork. The graphite-reinforced maple neck has a modern C shape. Appointments include deluxe Lite-Bass tuning machines, a chromeplated bridge that permits string-thru or top-loading, a new design split single-coil pickup (mid position), and a humbucker at the bridge. The Fender Deluxe P Bass Special 4-String Bass has a Jazz neck, a P Bass body, and a P/J combination pickup array with Vintage Noiseless pickups and active electronics. The P body is a little smaller and lighter, the J neck slimmer and faster, and the combined pickups give you just that much more to play with. A gold-anodized pickguard sets it apart visually and its satin-finish neck feels worn in from the get-go.
