Pickups: Two entirely different pickups for tremendous tonal versatility • Front pickup — Super Humbucking • Back pickup — Entirely new design with
accented treble frequencies (Back pickup is single coil). Early models have a three-way selector switch, later models have a potentiometer to allow any blend of the two pickups.
Hardware: Nickel wide travel, adjustable tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece

The guitar picture (left) is a mahogany-bodied Marauder with maple fingerboard (Natural Mahogany finish). Mahogany versions were only available in 1978/79. It is unclear how many mahogany-bodied Marauders were made as they are not specifically mentioned in the shipping figures.
